This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
This program is designed to provide training for people to enhance their continued education and employment prospects through the development of skills and knowledge to improve their employability and work readiness and to assist them to re-engage with learning or those already within an established organisation who draw on varied operational needs to assist staff/customers.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.

Workbooks can be completed using our online platform or in printed form, whatever works for you. Our training facilities include manual handling and first aid environments, to provide hands-on practical training to our students, so they’re familiar with these settings before attending onsite work placement. Don’t worry, we will organise that for you too.

Course requirements
There are no pre-requisite qualifications for entry into this qualification, InterCare Training will ensure Pre Training Review processes are in place to promote suitable and appropriate course enrolments and to protect prospective students prior to enrolling into this training product from being disadvantaged by the inability to meet the AQF level required.
Due to the nature of the Diploma of Business program, InterCare Training recommends that persons are a minimum age of 17 years old to undertake this qualification.

Courses Stages
1. Theory
- Core unit theory and essential knowledge component is delivered in the classroom or via zoom (virtual class)
- The practical skills will be developed through dedicated lab days and practical simulations under supervision over a specified period of time
Assesement
- Demonstration of knowledge through written answers and projects
- Demonstration of workplace skills and knowledge through practical exercises based around workplace activities
